"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." Yes, i was there to celebrate my lifetime bestie birthday. Well, to be honest, I do have a long list in hands of which cafe or restaurants that I want to visit. And, Franco is one of them due to the strong marketing and recommendations they have. Of course, they are everywhere too that you can't actually ignore them. :P
And It wasn't that crowded the time we went there. Don't get me wrong, their food is really nice but, it was a bit early for dinner time when we reached there.
So, since only the two of us, we ordered 2 main dishes for each and a dessert to share.
1. Franco French Toast
According to the menu, this is their dessert in shop. The toast was deliciously topped with honey and cream. One thing about this dessert is you gonna eat fast before the ice cream all melted and dropped. The toast was soft and well-toasted.
2. Seafood Tomato Cream
Anything that served with seafood, no matter rice, noodles or even spaghetti is my favourite. So as this lovely dish. But, I didn't make this order, the birthday girl did. You can taste the sweetness of tomato from the sauce as well as a little bit of garlic. It was creamy, however, you won't feeling greasy.
You can tell from the happy face! XD
3. Squid Ink Rice with Assorted Seafood & Omu Egg
Yes, I have had black teeth after having this dish. But, who cares! I like the strong taste of squid in this dish and it was perfectly tasted with the sticky rice. However, this dish is not recommended on your first date, unless you're the "i don't care" kind of girl. :P I have to admit that this plate has definitely satisfied my tastebud in that evening. :)
