Well, I don't know how many reviews I have been left behind with. But, one thing I do know for sure. If I still lay back and don't update this blog, sooner or later, it will be closed down.
I was at this restaurant two months ago to have a casual weekend dinner with my girls. How I come accross this restaurant? Well, I initially saw a few posts on instagram that shared by one of my blogger friends and is highly recommended by her.
We have been talking about visiting this restaurant for months and at last, we made it. we had had ordered a few dishes to tempt our "tam chiak" stomach.
1. Chicken Pongteh with Belacan

Among all the dishes we had ordered that night, Chicken Pongteh satisfied my tastebuds the most. It has a light taste of sweetness and matched well with the belacan sauce.
2. Telur Cincaluk

According to the girls, Telur Cincaluk is a must-have dish when you dine-in for baba&nyonya cuisine. Unfortunately, the girls a bit disappointed as they couldn't taste the cincaluk that much. It would be another great dish if it has a stronger taste of cincaluk. At the end, we ate it together with the Belacan sauce from the Chicken Pongteh and it safe the dish a little.
3. Kangkung Sambal Belacan and Mix Vegetable

While savoring the good food, we need to have a balance nutrition, too! :P We ordered the most common dish, Kangkung Sambal Belacan and Mix Vegetable (Zap Choi).
Dismally to say the dishes were not as impressive as what has been taught. However, let's not be too quick to judge. I was told by a friend that Nyonya Laksa is their signature dish but you have to pre-order it because it is the best-selling in the shop (this is confirmed by the boss, too). So, Nyonya Laksa, I am coming for you!
There are two main reasons that usually attract the public attention: food and shop atmosphere (insta worthy kind of photo) if you know what I mean. :P Personally, I like the decoration in the shop. It has a very nostalgic feeling as if you are back to the 60s and 70s or maybe way earlier. XD By the way, the owner is a very friendly man. Halfway of our dinner, he pulled a chair and sat down next to us and started telling us his "life story"... A very fun and outspoken oldfolks :)))
