Have been seeing the post about this restaurant going around on Facebook and at last, I was there to try out their varity flavors of spaghetti. As a romantic-oriented person, BGT is an ideal place for couples especially for dinner. Get the table nearest to the lake to enjoy the beautiful nightview. As per a little chat with one of their waiters, if you go around 6:30 to 7 in the evening, you will get the chance to enjoy the "evening gorgeous" (Sunset). But we were there during their lunchtime for this spaghetti promotion. Definitely gonna make it second time in the evening.
The chef and his team has cooked up to 10 different flavorful of spaghetti to satisfy your tastebuds. And the two girls has tried 6 of them! :P
As you can see from the menu, beside of the varieties flavour of spaghetti, it also comes with a bowl of soup of the day, garlic toast, salad and bottomless drink.
Here comes our first plate of spaghetti. As for the first round, my friend and I we chosed to play safe. We went for the most common taste of spaghetti:
1. Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio (Above) and Spaghetti Carbonara (Below)
All 6, this is my favourite! (PS: Sorry Chef! :P) It was not oily and the seafood was fresh! And the chef is not stingy in the ingredients, if you know what I mean. :P Was thinking to order the same plate for next round but, reminded by my mission was to savor their different taste of spaghetti. So, you will see 6 different plates of spaghetti as promised. XD
The carbonara also cooked to perfect. It wasn't too creamy that you will feel heave after that.
Well, people say do not stop the good things to come to you. We went on to order the second plate of spaghetti.
2. Fusilli Ragout (Above) and Spaghetti Duck Aglio Olio (Bottom)
It was served with sausage and mushroom in bolognese sauce. And, the fusilli was very chewy. Another favourite of mine on the list. :)))
It was a bit different from our expectation. What we were expecting was few big and thick red color slice of duck meat. Anyhow, the taste has recompense the dish. Aglio Olio kind of spaghetti is always the good and safe choice to go for...
When we fisnihed this four plates of spaghetti, we were looking at each other and said "let's go for one more round and we are good for today!" So, since it was the last plate of the day, we had ordered something uncommon.
3. Anchovies Tom Yam Spaghetti (Above) and Pesto Chicken Spaghetti (Below)
Not sure how many of you have tried Tom Yam flavor spaghetti before but, this is my very first time eating this. You won't feel the "kik" until it goes through your throat! A lousy spicy eater like me, almost got chocked by its spicyness! :P (Whisper) so as my friend who ordered this! XD Those who are the big lover for Tom Yam, worth to give it a try... But, since it is served with anchovies, please do not have so much of expectation.
Pesto Chicken Spaghetti also my first attempt. According to my friend who have tried this flavor of spaghetti before, she said not bad but still, there is a room for improvements! :)))
NOTE: This promotion is only AVAILABLE FOR LUNCH ONLY from Monday to Saturday, 11:30am till 2pm. The price is RM17.50 per person. Should double check the price with the people there. Can't really recall how they charge for individual. But, it is a a reasonable price, no worries!
The staffs are friendly and efficient enough in serving the customers. Good job guys!
Also, this restaurant has a top floor that open up for small functions. It can approximately 25 pax.
